Absolute Dance Presents THE WIZARD OF OZ Holiday Production (5 yrs and up)

*All participants must be registered in one full year class to accompany their holiday production class – these can be registered for separately on our Full Year registration pages.

This Season we are proud to present our 17th annual holiday production The Wizard of Oz.  We can’t wait to build this Ballet based production with our team and kick off our Holiday season with this classic tale.

The Holiday Production session runs September 8th through November 29th, 2025.

Important and mandatory holiday production dates include:
Friday November 21 – 1st Blocking rehearsal for Holiday Presentation at Absolute Dance. Times TBA. Required for all participants.
Saturday November 22 – 2nd Blocking rehearsal for Holiday Presentation at Absolute Dance. Times TBA. Required for all participants.
Friday November 28 –  Holiday Production  Dress Rehearsal at Glenmore Christian Academy 16520 24th St. SW 4:30-8:30pm. Required for all participants.
Saturday November 29 – Holiday Production Performance at Glenmore Christian Academy 16520 24th St. SW Showtime 2pm. Dancers call  times TBA. Required for all participants.

Class price $367.50 gst included
Costume $215.00 gst included
Theatre fee $35.00 gst included
This sessional class fee is not included in unlimited programming.

*Important note – Holiday Production is a requirement for ALL competitive team members.  This was always our rule prior to COVID.  Lenience reamined for a few seasons after, offering grace on this guideline.  The requirement now reinstates going forward.  It is a highlight in our season and contributes to the technical development of our team returning to a Ballet based production.  Technique prevails in competitive dance and contributes to the overall success of a team.  We are excited to continue refining our technique as a whole and ensuring our  high standards are held on and off the competitive platform & stage.
